Weekend surprises….!!!

- Birthday

Not mine, obviously. It was my cousin’s 21st birthday. Haha.. We haven’t seen each other for a long time. We didn’t even get to meet during CNY. So that’ll be like 1 and ½ year plus. Hahaha.. Anyways, the gathering was at a chalet and she invited me to stay over to drink with her friends. Being such a strong anti-socialist, of course I rejected. Der, common sense will tell you not to go drinking with people you don’t know right? Hey, I’m smart enough not to drink with strangers lor. Especially since it’s like far side of Singapore and none of my trusted friends are there.

But the most incredible thing was not the drinking part. It was my first cousin. I’ve never really like him since young, and especially these few years. He has suddenly become very friendly with the older cousins. Those below 15 were obviously not his targets. Puhleez… He didn’t even noe their names. Der. Anyways, my brother unfortunately had to entertain him during CNY and tt day, he escaped on his own and left me with the cousin. (Arghhhh! SZF, U’d better watch out! U so cruel la) My brother and I were talking about some silly stuffs when he came over and abruptly asked, “Hey, what are u talking about?” We stopped talking and just said “Nothing la, not much.” But he continued to poke into our business. My brother and I were so 尴尬 cos it’s really just some silly stuffs and how to tell ppl u’re not really that acquainted about it? But he was really rude. He persisted in asking like he die die also must know what we were talking about. Erlack. So somehow we just came out with something to get him off our back. So disgusting la. If u think this is the end of the story, so sorry, 才不是呢！This is the time my brother went off (escaped more like) on his own and left me with the cousin. Wa lao. So, I put on my worst behaviour EVER! I sms in front of him and when he talked to me I either dun reply him or I just said “Oh, I see. Hmmm.. Ok la..” and stuffs like that. But his determination surprises me. He continued to talk to me. Der.. Then I resort to the last thing. While he blabbers away, I looked at the moon. But he still continued to talk. Den I thought that he might be looking at something or someone else while he was talking and perhaps he was not talking to me after all. I was wrong. I checked. He was talking to me. Sigh, lucky by that time the cake was passing around and I quickly zoomed off saying I wanted a piece of the cake. (By the way, it was double chocolate with banana. Yummy) Then I went over to my brother. He was sniggering la. And he still had the cheek to ask if I had a good conversation. What der…… Hmmmph. Was so turned off la. What turned me off was not the insensitive, but the 心机 that he showed. How can anyone who hasn’t been talking to you for like a long time suddenly show interest in talking to you? And while I showed no interest and even utter most rudeness to him, he still persisted in talking to me. Not forgetting the part when he was so KPO in trying to find out what my brother and I were talking about befor he interrupted us. And he was like talking to me in a sly person trying to get business kind of talk. Hey. I might act dumb (but not dumb) but my brain is still working and sensitive at traps like this ok. I’m good at finding traps to save myself. And my guess was right. He’s in some kind of insurance company. When I complained to my parents about the cousin’s irritating talk, my dad sided me. Yes! Apparently, he offended my Dad during a recent dinner which I fortunately didn’t go. Hahaha. Dumb ass-hole. Hahaha.. So now, basically, my Dad does not like him either. (actually, my dad has dislike him since young la. Cos, he really dunno how to 做人。) I dun pity him at all. Hmmph. He’d better not step on my toe the next time I see him. (Which I hope is never!) If not, I’ll tongue-slash him.

- Concert

The next night, I went to see Erhu Society 12th Anniversary concert. Overall, my review of the concert is that it’s a total joke. The starting was horrible. The banner that was hung looked like 咸菜 and as if it was retrieved from the garbage bin la. Please la, at least iron it before it is hung la. Den the funniest part came. The soloist wore a black shirt with a shiny grey polka dotted bow. Hahahaha.. When he walked him, I turned to my brother and said, “Muahahahaha”. He performed 烛影摇红 which is one of my favourite piece. But I almost couldn’t recognise the melody. Cos he was playing it so horribly. I WAS MORTIFIED. THE ORCHESTRATION OF THE ORCHESTRA ACCOMPANIMENT WAS HORRIBLE! ALL THE HARMONY AND CHORDS WERE WRONG, DYNAMICS SUX (was there even one in the first place?) AND THE FLOW WAS ALL SALA!!! I WAS SO FURIOUS! HOW CAN THEY TURN SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PIECE BY 刘天华 AND TURN IT TO A CRAP PIECE……!!!!!!!!! ARGHHGHGHGHGHHG!!!!!!!

I swear. If I noe who was the cursed-damned arranger who did the terrifying accompaniment, I will definitely fight with him. Hmmph.

Then the rest went on smoothly. Then the finale when all four masters were performing a medly together. The performance was the greatest joke of the night. Cos the accompaniment was actually Midi cum techno!! When the music came out the audiences were taken back. (including me) And by the sounds of the midi instruments used, I can 100% confirm that, it is done on Sibelius then converted to midi. Ridiculous la. I had to stop myself from giggling throughout the whole performance. Hahahahha…

So, finally, I’ve finished my update. There you go TXL. Since the whole school’s internet wasn’t working on Mon, so I’ve got no choice but to post it on Tuesday. Haiz.. Oya…. Another petition is going on.
