Well, I couldnt really say anything positive on the first day of school. But the second day of school. Yeah. I am so much happier! I have this notion that I know I will do well this time round. Wished I had this kind of power and energy during my 10-week practicum. Maybe, the comments that I got wont be as disappointing and humiliating den...
Sigh.
The school staff room is really warm. It's cooler outside and in the classrooms.
Oya, did I mention that the classrooms are really big?
Like.. really wide! Entire class of about 37-39 jus takes up about 50-60 percent of the classroom. There's lots of space behind. LOTS OF SPACE! That's so cool.
Although it's been only one year since I last taught in a school. But there's so much going on that has changed. Especially with the H1N1 precautions going on... Whew. Tiring.. for the staffs that is...
First day. Hectic la. I followed the students and alight at the bus stop that is at the back of the school. The entire school was dark cos there was no light at all. So, I got kinda "blind" temporary. Gosh. The route to the meeting room seems really long and distant sia. And I met the P along the way too. Den the freaky thing happened. As I went for my first relief lesson one hour later, I met P again! And the topic is still on if I know where I'm going sia. Den... 2 hours later, I see the P in the GO. AGAIN! Freaky right? Hahaha. Anyways, back to the bus stop story. So today (the second day of school) I got the hang of getting around. So, even though the lights are not on and I am still blind, at least I got the way to the staff room. Yeah! I'm not lost anymore. Hahahaha. Hope this continues!!!
Oya.. I'm still getting to know the surroundings of the school. I got kinda lost on the first day. Ok .. I lied. I got lost on the first day. And I missed out so many short-cut stops. No wonder all the students stare at me like i'm some kind of kuku teacher. Which I am la. I mean. There's a teacher who walks out of the staff room later den me. In the end.. He reached the class next to mine. Earlier than me. How can that be? Tsk. Me very dumb right? Yup. I'm really dumb. Den today, i went down the level, walk to the other block and went up one level to the staff room. Den, we realised tt the classroom is actually jus beside the stairs next to the staff room. Double dumb. But now.. I get the hang of the building structures and half the short-cuts. So. I hope tmr, I can get to the classrooms faster. Muahahahaha
Can't wait to get busy soon.
*WOOT*
PS: Many thanks to TXL, Haley, Adelz and Sally who entertained me with tons of SMS on the first day so that I dun feel so bored sia. Hahahahaha.

a couple of updates
@Butterfly farm2 butterflies mating. The ppl there told us to look at it de. Jus realised that I focused more on the poster behind instead on the 2 blurry butterflies.
Fact 1: Butterflies only mate with their own species. Hence, you will not find any cross-breeds at all. Picky eh? Well, hey. Think of it as they're very 专情 la.. Only haf one type of partner. Not picky enough? Well... Different kinds of butterflies haf their own special food. They'd rather die den eat something else. Wa... Kids should not learn to be butterfly. They're too picky with their food!
Fact 2: The butterflies mate by sticking their abdominals together. Hahahaha. Humans lock lips. They lock abdominals.
A bunch of caterpillars on the same kind of leaves. They're really hungry.
This particular butterfly said "hello" to me on a kid's cap. He was so excited that he wanted more butterflies to land on his cap. Hahahaha.
(Gosh. From this angle. A butterfly really looks like an alien worm with a couple of wings! Scary....)
2 Adorable kids in my group. Walter and Laven. The other 2 were too shy. Aww...
At the Singapore Philatelic MuseumSpongeBob as astro boy! Hahaha. Actually I asked for the girl to pose. But she had a better idea. She let SpongeBob pose instead. Cool. Hahahahaha. There were others who had their try as a superhero too!
This is the reason why learning of proper grammar is essential. We practically laughed at this bloke called Sub-Mariner. (look at the sentence underlined in pink)
So is this Prince guy a son of an officer or a Princess of Atlantis? Hey! Make up ur mind!!!

Havent been blogging for a long long while. Come.. Have some yummy photos to entertain urself.
Incident 1:
I'm happily eating sushi with TXL
Then.. My face becomes like this. Quite obvious that something bad must haf happened right? Yup... You're right! Cos.....
My "super strength" broke the chopsticks.. While eating sushi. Hahahaha. How cool is that!!!
Incident 2: Stairway to heaven
Watching this man as he attempts to go "up" using the ladder.. We call it.. "The stairway to heaven" (With reference to the actual song by Jimmy Hendriks)
Then .....
*poofs* Noel appears.. The man got distracted by her beauty and decided to come back as a mortal in this troubled land. Aka: Earth. Hahaha. Can see the "brave" man's head sia.. Lol...
Incident 3:
I totally suck at arpeggios. I think I'm going to fail my grade 6 examinations. Even though I've practiced a lot. It just doesnt seem to be enough. I think my musical skills and ability deteriorated or degraded or something like that. It's all very worrying. Sigh .....
Anyways.. Left like 2 weeks before holiday ends. Yikes... Going to sleep some more. Ciao!!!! Opps. I think I just sounded like my Sinister Friend sia... Diez.. Hahaha. Almost 2 months total no contact with her at all. Yet.. I still can sound like her. Hahahahaha. I'm so lame

I've learned lots of things today. Kinda interesting to hear stories from my grandmother. My Dad picks up some of his thinkings from my grandma. For example, both of them has the same thinking that after they've moved on, they want their bodies cremated and their ashes to be scattered into the sea. AKA: sea burial.
My Mom and Dad dun like to be indebted to other people. 欠人情. And they dun want to let their families like my grandparents or uncles and aunties and my brother and I to worry about them. Hence, they try means and ways to solve problems and not let us worry. My grandmother has this characteristic trait too. She was feeling ill but was still strong and determined not to call her children until she couldnt take it. Hahaha.. Even when I left her house, she kept reminding me that if I am busy and if nothing happens, dun come visit her. Of cos i'm not that oblivious and insensitive to do so la.
Today is jus a very ordinary family bonding day. But I'm happy.
PS: It beats practicing piano and going online.

you know, sometimes I think I make the wrong choices all the time. Then it's time to reflect. I'm totally lame. I cant blame myself for not making the right choice. Come one, who makes the right choice all the time?
(Who? tell me who? only people from up above makes all the correct moves, i'm telling you)
After long periods of reflection. My conclusion is... that it is not that I made a wrong decision. It is that I did not follow my decision once I made it. That's where the failing part comes around.
严重的挫败感
It's all because of my poor results. Literally. I'll get over it soon. I know it. Since it's not the first time I failed anyway.
