After 4 and 1/2 days of proper office work,
I come to realise that teaching is still the best.
I'm so glad I chose the right profession for me.
But on the bright side..... I get to sit down and not move the entire day in an air-con room. I get to stare at the computer screen whole day. The job is pretty simple and requires zero skills and PR tactics which suits me to a perfect T. PLUS! I get to do overseas assignments. Since I'm stuck in Singapore cos I'm a cheapo with no money to spend on traveling, it's projects like this that gets me out of boredom. I get to travel with my always overwhelming imagination. I dun get to see the actual scenery. But it's good to hear and listen to the real ordinary people of that country. Feel the difference between your country and theirs through their telephone numbers. Difference in culture through their accents of English.
It just make me realise that... Singapore is freaking small. Our telephone numbers are like so not long. Yet, I cant rmb many combinations of them. Whenever I make overseas calls, the numbers are at least 12 digits long. So it goes "tu-tu-tu-tu-tu-tutututututututu-tuuuuuuu" . But let me make it clear, I like my freaking small country. Cos traveling is simpler and so much easier and everything is more organised =)
But one thing I can do without is the holding tune. I'm sick and tired of listening to the same one. I can even tell u which company uses which system and which system uses which composers and songs as their holding tune. Erlack. There's one interesting holding tune system though. Let's say the operator puts me on hold and the tune starts then maybe it got transferred to someone else and that person transfers me to the right person (like finally!)), during the wait and hold, the tune will actually start when it had stopped! It was super AMAZING!!! Well cos that's the first kind that I had come across. The others just start from the top. *Yawn* Boring.
Oh well.. Enough of work. I'm not supposed to say much cos I signed the disclosure agreement. So anyway now that I'm properly working... I cant wait for the weekend to be here!!!
