Title: Too Much Cola Can Cause Muscle Problems

- WEDNESDAY, May 27 (HealthDay News) -- Drinking too much cola can increase the risk of a muscle problem called hypokalemia, experts warn.
In people with hypokalemia, a drop in blood potassium levels results in problems with vital muscle functions. Symptoms can range from mild weakness to serious paralysis, say Greek researchers who conducted a review of people who drank between two to nine liters of cola a day.
Two of the patients were pregnant women who were admitted to hospital with low potassium levels. One was a 21-year-old woman who drank up to three liters of cola a day and complained of fatigue, appetite loss and persistent vomiting. An electrocardiogram revealed she had a heart blockage, and blood tests showed she had low potassium levels, the researchers explained in a news release.
The second pregnant patient, who'd consumed up to seven liters of cola a day for 10 months, had low potassium levels and was suffering from increasing muscular weakness, the researchers noted.
Both patients made a rapid and full recovery after they stopped drinking cola and took oral or intravenous potassium. The case studies are described in the June issue of the International Journal of Clinical Practice.Ok, so they recovered. BUT! There's absolutely no guarantee that their UNBORN babies will be alright...Right? Ok, 2 points here.
Point 1: Who on earth in their right minds drink up to 7-9 litres of cola A DAY? This is crazy. You dun need scientific research to prove the naked eye fact. THAT PERSON WILL DIE!!!! You know, like.. Stop breathing, heart not functioning, follow "the light", going to the other door of erm.. other place??? (Well, something like that.) Puhleeze.. I cant even finish a 1L bottle. And as much as I love soft drinks, I cant drink it everyday. Even I (the unhealthiest among my peers)KNOW that! Hello!!!! We're talking about high possibilities of DYING around here.. You know,stop breathing, heart not functioning..and blah blah blah blah... The rest of the story. To those Soft Drink abusers out there...
GET A LIFE! STOP DRINKING SO MUCH COKE AND SOFT DRINKS, TRY FRUIT SMOOTHIES WONTCHA!!!!

Hello!!! We're talking about a life concealed in the same body as the so-called "Mother" in this case. Puhleeze.. even without the potassium thingy... the high level of sugar they take in everyday will cause high blood pressure and diabetes and related diseases will not only cause harm to the mother, but to the unborn cute cuddly babies too! And even IF they DO give born successfully (which I highly doubt so), they will have after-effect. The baby might be unhealthy, and so does the mother! Pregnant ladies out there, here's a shoutout:
TREASURE UR LIFE! COS IT WILL IMPACT THE BABY INSIDE U. DUN DRINK SOFT DRINKS IN BULK. MODERATE IS GOOD. Moderate is good.So, in conclusion. Treasure your life people. Not only must you eat healthy. DRINK HEALTHY TOO. So, we'll see you the next time, right here on my blog.
PS: I just realised.. I'm too into iCarly. It's a show about a bunch of friends doing their own webshow. I'm watching 2 seasons straight. Argh.. PPS: Oya.. About my aggressive over-reaction on Vampires.. U noe, I cant really help that. Now that it's sch holidays.. I've just been sleeping, watching videos, eating, slacking doing nothing (how contradicting is that. How can u do 'nothing'.. It's like, not physical and so totally opposite. It's like the term 'original copy'.. ok, if u're getting confused, skip over this part)
Anyways. The point is. I've got so much energy, but totally no motivation to do anything else (like cleaning my room and setting my life back to normal) So, when I found a topic that could get me into writing and all hyped up.. My energy level just burst. Like this long long ..... very .. erm, long post (sorry, I ran out of vocab words that is aka as long. Hehe)
No offense to vampire lovers.(referring to the mortals who likes vampires and their fake biographies. Opps, sarcastic remark here. I meant it. I still dun like vampires. They freak me out. I'm not talking about the vampire couples.As in, vampire A loves vampire b = vampire lovers. Hmm, i'm getting all confused myself. Ok, shut up with the word games...)
PPPS: My spelling sucks. English spelling. I hate seeing so many red dotted lines.
It irks me.PPPPS: I've been watching TW dramas and reading the subtitles. And it affected my writing.One day, I was writing something and someone overlooked it and asked me if I was from Taiwan.. I was like "WHAT! Why?" ... Answer: Cos I was writing in 繁体字 （traditional chinese) instead of 简体字 (the current chinese words). And now, I'm so mixed up. I am a total confused freako. I'm mixing both together. Now, I call these words 梵体字。。 It's a pun. Funny eh! Hahahaha.. Cos 繁体字 and 梵体字 have the exact same pronounciation... Hahahaha.. Ahhhhh...... Oh boy.
Haiz.. Never mind.
PPPPPS: I've got a funny friend named TXL. Yesterday we went JP and her sandals broke. We totally had no clue what to do. But luckily, a kind auntie saw it and taught us a trick. It involves rubber band. Actually, this is jus a self-reminder to myself to update on this hilarious event. I'll do it.. eventually, some day... I think. (If I remember. OMG! This post is so long. I'll prob Zzzzz b4 I reach this part of the post)
